Womb Rituals

Tara’s interdisciplinary art practice explores the body as portal and medicine. Rooted in the mystery of the womb, the work speaks to rebirth, vulnerability, and the transformation of pain into power.

Created in 2022 during her Master in Fine Arts, Womb Rituals became a way to unite body, mind, and spirit through art. Using menstrual blood as a sacred and politicised medium, Tara gives form to what is often hidden or silenced, inviting healing, reflection, and embodied expression.

Exhibited in multiple contexts between 2022 and 2026, the work comes alive through encounter. It sparks dialogue and invites viewers to look deeper, feel more fully, and meet themselves through the power of art.
